I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at CSU East Bay. I previously worked as a research associate at ANSIRH at UCSF and the School of Social Welfare at UC Berkeley.

I completed my PhD from University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2016. My research interests include medical sociology, fat studies, embodiment, sexuality and health. I also provide research consulting services as Ingraham Research Consulting (IRC).
My teaching experience focuses on research methods, gender, family, and sexuality. I view teaching as a form of public sociology, helping students apply a sociological lens to address current world issues from a social justice perspective.
My wonderful UCSF colleagues and friends: (L to R): Jamie Chang, Sean Arayasirikul, Jarmin Yeh, Kate Darling, Me, & Christoph Hanssmann
I was also the Project Coordinator for a research project partnership between Lyon-Martin Health Services, a program of HealthRight360, and RTI International focused on health for lesbian and bisexual women. Check out my Research page for publications from this project and my work at Lyon-Martin.
